September 28th is World News Day, a campaign to bring together more than 300 news organisations worldwide and promote the value of good-quality, credible journalism.
The initiative is run jointly by the World Editors Forum (WEF), the network for editors within the World Association of News Publishers (WAN-IFRA) and The Canadian Journalism Foundation (CJF).
World News Day is the perfect time to publish a press release. |
For 2021, World News Day has a particular focus on climate change and the future of the planet, and participants are being asked to share quality journalism on those topics.
But it's also a great opportunity for businesses of all sizes to publish a press release and generate some additional exposure on a day when news in all its forms will be on the agenda.
Press Release Writing
I have been a professional writer for 15 years, including five years at Adfero writing online news in Manchester and London.
This gave me a journalist's perspective on what makes a good press release, and I now put that experience into my outsourced press release writing service.
I have attention to detail, from the basics like including your location, date and contact details, through to the bigger things like providing journalists with genuinely useful bullet point info and original quotes/comments.
Your press release needs to include the right elements to be useful to a journalist, so it's essential to use a press release writing service and, in particular, a writer who knows what journalists need.
Get in Touch
I'm accepting orders throughout September and beyond, so if you'd like to order a press release on a fast turnaround ahead of World News Day, just let me know.
There's no minimum order size - so if you just want a one-off press release to get involved with World News Day, before you decide whether or not to follow it up with a longer campaign, that's fine.
All enquiries are welcome and you can find my contact details, prices and other info by following the links at the top of this page.
